The
LTC 1065 is a powerful terminal for those who
need both the manageability of a centralized server
environment and the power of application access
from the desktop. With the LinTC 1055, corporations
can enjoy the richness of the PC experience without
the associated costs of management and the endless
replacement cycles of the standard PC model.
With
a built-in browser, the LTC 1065 can be used alone
as a browser terminal or as a thin-client. It
provides local audio input and output, and a wide
range of local peripheral connectivity options.
The
LTC 1065 takes advantage of Keynux experience
in simplifying access to network-based information
and applications. It is ideal for users in a LAN
environment who use a standard suite of office
productivity applications, plus web-based applications,
email, and Internet browsing, and who utilize
network-based peripherals, including printers.
The LTC 1065 also includes a powerful range of
emulators, giving easy and direct access to web-based
applications or mission critical applications
on Linux, UNIX or Windows® systems.
With its support for dual session mode, applications
can be run either locally, after upload from the
servers in the thin-client memory, or remotely
on the servers. The user is also given the possibility
to use both modes concurrently.
With
an outstanding price-to-performance ratio, the
LTC 1065
offers a lower acquisition cost combined with
an ongoing reduction in management and maintenance
costs. Since all application software and hardware
upgrades take place on the servers, IT departments
save on administrative and upgrade costs.

or viruses.

stereo sound capability, 10/100BaseT network support,
